Hello Ontbirders
The alert placed yesterday of a Pomarine Jaeger at Bate Island should be
amended to Parasitic Jaeger.
After carefully studying photos, the bird is determined to be an intermediate
morph juvenile Parasitic Jaeger.
Close observation and studying clear photos revealed a fairly
Hi Ont-Birders; Last evening a Harris's Sparrow came to my feeder. It made
its second appearance at 8:15 today. I welcome anyone to come see this bird.
Just park in the lane way and come quietly to the back door and knock. I
plan to be around home for the day but must slip out for some bird seed.

There was an interesting assemblage of birds at the Long Point Bird
Observatorys Old Cut Field Station at the base of Long Point today. The
morning census began at around 8:45 with an observation of a White-eyed
Vireo in the Old Cut parking lot before it moved west with a

by a trail from a small parking lot for the Voyageurs pathway, along Boulevard
