Great post! Another thing is this...if the lamb is hypothermic she must be
warmed up before she is fed. It has something to do with how they metabolize
their food. I can't remember the specifics but maybe someone else can chime in?

That is what they call creep feed here - at the feed store that is how you ask
for it. It's a mix of pellets and grains. I think it's a bizarre way of
naming it - but that is what it is.

I used a lamb replacer but instead of water I used goats milk and
doubled the amount of fluid. It worked well for me. Slowly over time
did I bring the amount of liquid to the recommended levels.

I thought that might be the case too. However, I had pulled the babes
and the ewes had a lot of time with the ram. When he first met
es? They did have young ones at the time, but I had weaned
them already. What could prevent them from becoming pregnant? He
produced lovely lambs last spring with these ewes.

This is great news! If they catch, they will be over a year old for lambing.
Well, back to pacing,
substance to it but I'm not sure if that's
because I have now separated the lambs from the ewes (and she just
kept producing a little milk) or because she is actually bagging up.
