Isn't that the NumLock is on or off ? Btw Sean, what is your position concerning one of the few built-in shortcuts ( ALT + MB1 to move a window ) ? It only works when Num-Lock is off . Should't the Shortcut work all the time ? I thought Jeff Raven wanted to make it an option but ... Olivier

Hi, The conversation about the memory consumption of xterm has got my attention. I have an i486DX at home with 8 MB RAM and a Debian Potato. I've tried to make things as small and minimal as possible, but maybe I do not know all the possible alternatives. Would you please help me with some sugges

I think I might have found one of the causes of memory leaking in bbkeys, but unfortunately, I simply do not have the time to track it down and fix it. (I would like to have a little chat with whoever came up with the idea of "exams".) Here is the initial memory usage of bbkeys: VmSize: 3496

A simple script to remove debugging from ALL applications: cd / find /{,usr,usr/local}/{bin,sbin,lib} -type f -exec /usr/bin/strip \ --strip-debug '{}' ';' Debugging symbols are usually not needed. This can save LOTS of drive space as well as memory. - Chris On Mon, 26 Nov

Hi,, I am using Sylpheed Claws 0.6.5. for e-mail. When I search for mail with this program Blackbox often crashes and takes down X with it, especially when I search in folders with a lot of mail. I have tried other WM's (icewm, xfce, kde, fvwm) on my computer, but it is only Blackbox that has thi

Okay i am fairly new to linux and i have a fairly old system and someone recomended blackbox and after trying like 5 different WM's i found that blackbox ws the fastest and i like it the best too :P But i was wondering if there is any way to customize it.
