Just wanted to add something about gaim. Since there was no entry for gaim in the stable BLFS book, I tried to compile it from scratch myself (before discovering the entry in the BLFS development book. Blah). The SSL FAQ on the gaim web site doesn't mention compiling libtasn1 before gnuTLS.
