Sorry Gerald but this is not correct. Jaws will not announce blank between lines in double spacing for the simple reason that there are no blank lines. Remember double spacing does not mean blank lines it means simply that the spacing for a single line is greater. So pressing the down arrow

These Windows commands do not work in Word 2007. The only way to get single spacing is to either change the style set to Word 2003 or change the line spacing options in the Paragraph dialog (Alt-P, PG). To verify the line spacing in the document, you should read it one line at a time using t
