Hi John,
All you need to do is purchase a blue-tooth USB adapter, and then pair it
with any blue-tooth headset.
The numbers come with the device to pair them.

Hi, Yvonne,
In that case, maybe I won't try it out. I don't want to lose Jaws which is
my default screen reader. I also have NVDA whichis a free screen reader.

Hi Mike,
The situation is solved! I don't know how in the hell I did it, but I
was going crazy trying everything in the book that I know. I almost
reached the point to move you off Dr. Phil's couch and get some help from him.
I did go into the control panel and for the heck of it. I press ent
Hi all,
Guide is not interested, nor does it care, on what screen reader is
running. I would however advise that you tell Guide not to place itself
at startup. This can be done during or after the installation process.
It is preferable to do it before. My other advice is to try and not use

Hi Rosemarie,
I am using the free 30 day demonstration version. Anyone can download it
from www.dolphinguide.com. It's not just a screen reader though; it
opens up a simpler world of computing so to speak. Very few keystrokes
needs to be learnt, because the software is menu driven.

Hi, everyone,
I just learned about a new screen reader on another list. It's called guide.
I'm tempted to download it and try it out but is it free software like NVDA is?
Just wondering.

Hi John;
Do the following;
hello there;
Following these steps on a Windows operating system, you can determine
whether your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit.
Difficulty: Easy Time Required: 5 minutes Here's How:
1. Open the System Information
Open the Start menu, and click on Programs -> Accessor
Hit the windows key and the pause key at the same time unless of course you
are using XP then you have the 32 bit version for sure.

Hi Lennie;
When you were in the control panel / sounds & audio properties / sounds
page, did you check and make sure that the sound scheme didn't get changed
to no sounds? I'm sure you did but, it's easier to start with the little
things first. Take care.
