If you find that her new Toshiba laptop has a touch panel for multimedia and
other functions, she can call Toshiba and they can assist her in turning it
off.

Hi Maria,
Thank you very much for your input. What I am trying to find are keystrokes
to alter volume on the fly, so to speak. The volume level doesn't seem to
go very high on this laptop or, it hasn't been maxed out yet we really
don't know its volume capability. Thanks again, take care.
Hi David,
Thank you for these volume changing tips! Hopefully, the FN key + up / down
arrow keys will work for her. She is rather clumsy on this laptop
arrangement, until she gets used to it,I'm trying to find her the easiest
keystrokes to navigate with. Thanks again, David, I know it
Hi Annette,
Thank you very much for your info on the FN + number row keystrokes. She
has an down arrow on the 3 key, an up arrow on the 4 key. We were hoping
that was what these keys were used for but, didn't know what other key to
use in conjunction with them. These keystrokes along with
I have a Toshiba laptop with one of those touch bars on the top edge
with the volume there as well so perhaps that's why the function key
doesn't work for volume control.
I don't care for the touch bar but I'm getting used to not touching it
and I've marked a few of the controls I use with that
