Unless there are compelling reasons for you to do so, I think you
don't have
to completely uninstall Windows XP to install Windows 7. While it is true that
Windows XP may be getting old (of which even Windows 7 is also getting old as
well -- we know for sure that another Windows version gonna
ix it.
