Okay, Angelina. You may need to study the software carefully. However, one
of the scanning options should be that you can choose which kind of file the
information is saved to. One of those options may be .pdf. Normally, you
need a full Adobe .pdf

When I saw the initial post on this thread I thought to myself, Great,
maybe I can get some tips on using off-the-shelf scanning applications.
I was disappointed to see that OpenBook and Kurzweil were thrown back at us
here.
