Max, I agree whole heartedly. According to a few items I've read, about 95% of the energy consumed by a light bulb is converted to heat with 5% going to visible light. And that visible light is converted to heat when the photons crash into walls and such. Same thing with the sound energy

Wouldn't the overall change in the temp of the aquifer depend on the ballance of cooling versus heating in the overall system? If you pull heat out of the underground water more than you push it back in, maybe you'd eventually freeze the whole aquiffer up and what might that cause! GRIN Therese
