You should never connect two outputs together with a Y connector. They will
fight with each other and it is possible that both of them will lose.
They may be protected against overloads but they may not. Best not to take
the chance. You could put together a passive mixer with resistors to

Hi,
A friend wants to replace the door knob on the front door of her
mobile home. We took off the old knob and its innards and can't get
the new tongue mechanism to fit in to the edge of the door. Seems a
mettle sleeve has been inserted in to the round whole in the edge
which prevents the new
Well the excellant black out example given by Terry will out run that.
if there were multiple cameras it might be able to do that, but the nature
of the reflective process are limiting.

If the manufacturer said it shouldn't be done; then you have that info
farther than I.
Maybe the output is different than other things.
Yes, couple would be when you have a wire and you "y" connect two
outputs.
I can't imagine the voltage so high that it would hurt the other board, or
it would
great idea!

Bill,
Probably depends on what kind of filter. A ceramic filter would probably
have cracked, but an activated charcoal filter will be fine. As a matter
of fact, I keep my camping water filter in the freezer so that it doesn't
grow mold when stored for long periods.

Tom, I understand now. I was under the impression that even with the black
background, I may still have issues with the wire. Well hey, don't know until
you try. grin

Hi Lenny;
I finally opened the ratcheting screwdriver set up today. The screwddriver
has a nice size comfortable rubber handle that is approximately 4 / 5 inches
long. That handle also pivots and locks. You can use it as a straight
handle, or at 45º, & 90º angles. It also comes with a littl
As Terry said, if the object whose color you want to identify is smaller
than will cover the sensor of the identifier, you need a black background on
which to put the unknown object E.G. wire etc.
Otherwise a colored, nonm-black background must optically combine colors
with the color of the unknow
You definitely want to "mix" the signals so they are combined without having
the output of one card effect the other.
this requires electrical resistance between each output and the input. An
actual mixer will do as required but connectors or capacitive coupling will

I could readilly go out and buy a car, a yacht or a plane these days, and

Anyone have any experience in type of compounds to clean the pitch off bits

Is there a different type of cleaner for different types of bits (carbide or

How about sharpening bits? I have a Sears Craftsman device that actually

Hey, Terry, I've asked dozens of people about this before, without anyone
being able to supply a precise answer. You say that you use a color
identifier. I assume that you use it to determine wire coating colors?
Does your color identifier accurately identify the color of wire coatings?
