Hi Max, You should be able to use about any length hose that you want. I buy it in 50 foot sections with a quick connect on each end. I also run my compressor on a 50 foot, 12 gauge, 3 conductor extension cord. I would also suggest that you have at least a 20 amp breaker. Steve

I am not sure how to get rid of the old gas. You need to get new gas. The old gas, may have got some water in it, and it will not work good in a new lawn mower. If I am not mistaken, you don't use the whole quart of oil in the mower. I think you need about one or two pints of oil.

On the bottle, the numbers 100 to 600 is c c, and the numbers 1 to 20 is oz. I think the best way to drain the oil, is from underneath. you need to keep the under neath side of the mower, clean. once in a while, which is a year, you need to oil around where the blade is on. Steve
