BD,
Seeding teams is well hard and I certainly would want to do it for the tour. ;-)
But if you fancy having a pop at guessing which teams will finish in
the top 8 in which order then hurry on down to the Lookfly tour
predictor now.

oz I'm about to get in my
car and drive to Bristol, but I'll be looking around Manchester for
potential B-Tour venues as soon as I get back!

this was the
decision of the DoC due to lack of pitches, so am curious as to why a
venue was accepted that didn't have enough space to accomodate all the
teams and if this is likely to happen at the other tours where we
should expect around 50 teams or even 60 if womens tour is on.

All,
Some more minor changes to seedings.
The schedule is not going to be available until the tournament due to doubts
over a few of the pitches, which means we do not know which schedule we will be
using.

Because not all teams play events outdoors during the winter and the winter
events are not UKU events the winter is thought of (at least by me) as pre
season and could therefore be likened to 'friendlies' in football or other
sports which have no effect on which league a team plays in next seaso

The prob is pleasing everyone. The current format is bad for the teams trying
to get into the top 16 (its worth being up there so you get to play games of a
decent length, and so you don't have to be in a pool with a couple of walk over
games).
It was real tough for smash and grab last yea
r seedings and use a format that works for all the teams and not just
those in the top 8. Why don't we do it?

Hi,
A couple if the seedings in the B Tour have moved slightly to avoid 1st and 2nd
teams meeting each other in the first pool round... The embarrassment of losing
to your second teams we'll leave til later! ;-)

Hi all,
I'd like to raise a query about seedings at tournaments for the UK's
frisbee minds to ponder and hopefully reply to.
It seems to me that in determining final placings within a tournament a
new method for the last matchups would be beneficial. For instance, in the top
