Speaking for Flyght Club, we use Winter League to coax new students to
the outdoors. It's rarely the tour team that plays. Often our winter
league teams were either split evenly or based on our student teams
and often featured random pickups like Dave Sealy or Alli Smith who
are clearly not Flygh
Because not all teams play events outdoors during the winter and the winter
events are not UKU events the winter is thought of (at least by me) as pre
season and could therefore be likened to 'friendlies' in football or other
sports which have no effect on which league a team plays in next seaso

The prob is pleasing everyone. The current format is bad for the teams trying
to get into the top 16 (its worth being up there so you get to play games of a
decent length, and so you don't have to be in a pool with a couple of walk over
games).

Why do we base the seedings for Tour 1 on Nationals from the previous year?
Why are they not based on the final tour standings from the previous year or
a combination of the Tour and nationals final standings? Wou
