Is there anyway any of the persons involved in the development of the

I think the bakery is an excellent application that has the potential

does anyone know what version of cakephp is the bakery's production
server using?
are there any differences in the code of the live bakery compared with
the source in SVN?

Hello,
I just wanted to let the guys in charge know that the registration for
the bakery has been broken for at least 2 months. Every time I try to
register I get a blank page after I submit the form.

Hello guys I just upgraded from an older version fo cakePHP 1.2 to
1.2.0.5146alpha. I noticed the new colored warnings with context and
code. The version I was using in the past didn't have those but it was
definetely 1.2.x.
I'm getting now a lot of errors that look like this:

I found here: http://wiki.cakephp.org/docs:themes that cakephp will

Thanks for the excellent comments Troy and AD7six. I think I was
actually
trying to be too politically correct and I didn't want to use others
models inside my controllers so I was using requestAction to get data
from other models but also to avoid having duplicated views as AD7six

Hi,
I'm sure many people have had the same issue I'm experiencing.
I'm working on a project where I need to get data from more than 30
models/controllers from a controller action.
I have been using the
$this-requestAction('/airports/getAirportList/' .
I also need to be able to call other controller methods such as
save($data) without the requestAction abuse performance inconveniences.
I read the article at:

I think that is kind of a good approach but not
Hi Troy.
I set DEBUG 2 and these are my results of 1 sample request:

Total request processing time: 1.8491s
I think 1.8 seconds is a long time considering that the SQL queries
only take 17 ms and I'm the only user of my Dev server.

Thanks Matt.
I tried what you recommended and many other alternatives I found on

so whatever I do to any config files would be overwritten within
seconds by Plesk.
Fortunately a friend actually got it working for me using a

Hi,
I'm having some difficulties integrating othAuth with my cake
applications; I downloaded it, I created the tables, I added
permissions for my controller actions, and created the models,
I added this to my app_controller.php
var $components = array('othAuth');
var $othAuthRestrictions =
