I am going to do the $subject since it has got new features such as SSL
support which is useful for BAM use cases. The latest Thrift version is
0.7. Since Cassandra is not compatible with latest Thrift version we need
to keep the older version of Thrift as well and differentiate using OSGi

Status of trunk build so far;
I built upto features using the old m2 repo and while doing so fixed some
compilation errors/version mismatches etc. Now I am building from the root
pom (excluding products for now) on a clean repo and the build is in
progress at orbit level without much of a hiccup.
