I would personally keep it as simple as possible unless the book tells you to
add something else...
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk native vlan XX Add only if it tells you to have a PC
behind the phone.
switchport voice vlan XX
I would not go with the access method unless
I did this today and had no issues. I did not need the ntp master command.
I did however experience the issues:
could ping CUE from my HQ router, could not ping HQ router from within CUE,
could not get ntp to associate.
oops, int service-engine0/0 was shut. I no shut and was able to ping and
looks like you got it right then.
if you are hearing a prompt that the user is unavailable, it is because you
havent recorded a custom prompt and CUC is giving you a made up one. I assume
you do not have an actual user named AA.
Attempt to use your caller inputs now and see whay happens.
The
looks like you are monitoring tx packets. think you intended on monitoring rx.

you would not want that command. it wouldnt matter if you had it since you
would have had to enable multicast routing, but if you accidently did that,
then the user could hear both CUCM and flash audio streams on their phone at
the same time.
You would however need it if you were sourcing MOH
. That way you'd don't need to constantly reread. And as u go thru
and make your notes, put a reference to the page u got it from. At 2:00,
you're not going to remember the note u made at 9am
Good luck !!

Hi experts!
I am taking my lab next week in San Jose for the first time. Besides the
excellent coffee I keep hearing about, does anyone have any advice they would
impart?
For example, I am back and forth on using the device method vs the linear
method.
Without breaking NDA, anything people
From my understanding, it will only override the 1st queue, all other
thresholds stay intact...
I could be wrong...

If it is a G phone, you will need to select 7941G-GE from the list.

You can also debug isdn q931 messages to see if the redirecting number is being
sent / received... In theory, telco could block.

I bought the Multi-phone IPBlue which allows me to simulate almost any hard
phone with any MAC for UCM or UCME.
Otherwise, the 45s would work fine until you get to labs that require a lot of
line appearances (when you need to do multiple lines, BLFs, Single-button-login
for UCCX, etc)
Good
Mark, assuming you are looking for the 7960 loads, they would look something
like this: (notice you are looking for two P0S3 files, but the other two files
are still P003 files) Also, the 08-3-00 could be different based on the
version of FW.
