when in srst mode, i left voice message to 4001 SC ,and checl the message and
delete the message. MWI is disappeared from 4001. However still show message
Envelope blinking on 4101.
is that expected? and how to get rid of it?

The best way is to test on your rack to see what happens without and then
with those commands during srst and in normal operation having enabled your

my phones will not register in SRST mode.
I tried several ways to put br1 rtr in srst no luck.
I've even manually configured the rtr with ephones and ephone-dn's
Everything looks configured correctly on CUCM
you will have to implemente access list for SRST to work properly
or create a new ccm-group with the pub server only
assign the ccm-group to the proper device pool
and when you're ready to test srst
just stop the ccm service on the pub

The quick answer is yes, but there is a gotcha...
As you described you normally configure 2 Device Pools, with different SRST
Router on each. That means when the WAN is down, you are using both Voice
Gateways at the same time, which provides you a way to load balance calls.
