you wash your hands with it under the faucet as if it were soap.
has catalytic action, takes odors of onion/garlic/fish off your hands
rather well.
would probably work for ginger - never tried it.

Nope, ginger. When you peel and slice ginger it 'bleeds' its juices all over
everything. Even after washing my hands 4-5 times its still there. The garlic is tame
in comparison. :)
