Sometimes Windows makes no sense. I simply right clicked on my USB controllers and updated the drivers. It never asked for a disk or anything so I don't know where it copied crap from - but all of a sudden my drive was recognized. ===

So, I use an external hard drive connected by USB. It worked fine on my Dell 8200 with XP Pro. I have a new Dell 8250,and until yesterday it had XP HOme. The external drive worked fine. I upgrade to XP Pro and SP1 today and now it's no longer seen. Anyone seen an issue like this before? ==
