About 15 years ago I visited Pearl Harbor. Back then, PH was America's
"ground zero".
I was a teenager, so I knew what the area represented, but wasn't really
into taking it all that seriously.
The atmosphere in that harbor wassurreal. The Arizona still leaking, the
memorial, the japanese tour
I've been to both Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the anniversary dates (20
years ago). Even in Japan it is more of a carnival atmosphere than an
atmosphere of mourning and atonement. Vendors hawking t-shirts, cotton
candy, blah blah It was really unbelievable. There are speeches and
anti-nuke
like, could i post that i just tore one down tonight?

Never used it myself, but I think it's kind of like a combo between a
super mini blog and instant messaging. You basically post what you're
doing at that exact moment for others to see.
