Yes. I have seen it happen. You would know if the truck ran over it.
I know how you are feeling though. We had a cat that used to like to sleep
in the engine block of our cars in winter, because it was warm. Usually the
cat would come out a prowl well before anyone tried to use the cars, but
Oh right..I forgot about the no fences thing in the US.
Our cat roams the yard, never had any complaints about cat poop on
people's yard etc.
He uses the ample grass and bushes.
He would go stir crazy, he does actually, if he wasn't allowed to roam
outside in the wilderness a bit :)

I'd disagree. However, I've never had a cat in a city, or even a suburb.
The closest thing would be the neighborhood my parents live in now, and,
well Three of the cats were indoor/outdoor from when we lived in an
even more rural area. The fourth was a stray, and knew how not to get
flat

It is an awful system beca
mine was born in a barn (literally) and really really wants to hunt.
I originally tried to keep him inside as he lost an eye to an
infection before we got him and I was worried that he could not take
car of himself, but he seems to be the terror of the local bird
population. I may reconsider if w
we used to think the same... outside, we are in a wooded neighboorhood, with
plenty of kitty places, etc... and no more... our new kitty, she is housebound
forever... no more dead kitties for us :(

We've got a fence, it's only about 4.5 ft. our dogs can't get over it, but
the cats would scoot right over it.

Dana,
Thanks for addressing this. The only experience I've had with homeschoolers,
was my ex brother in law and his wife, who wanted to home school their son
because there were *ahem* "certain racial groups" that they didn't want
their son around.

"corporate culture"??? Schools are run by the government and unions
which is why they suck. If schools were run by corporations we'd h

I ALWAYS adhered to this. Never let my cats out. But my current cat ... I
can't keep him inside and I gave up trying. We're in a cul de sac and it's
very quiet. He usually just hangs out around the house or in the woods right
next to the house. He hears us pull into the street and is always waiting
yes I do. And if it happened that way it would have been quick and
painless, if that helps.
