I must be strange. The games I play were all old when I last updated my
desktop 4 years ago so my laptop is plenty powerful to run them and I
would still rather be on the desktop. Maybe it's the bigger monitor or
the full sized keyboard or a combination thereof. I know you can get
those things on

With my laptop I just hook it into the HDTV or my 23 monitor when I'm
working at my desk. Same with the keyboard, mouse etc. Otherwise the
laptop's 15.6 screen and keyboard work just fine.

I haven't really used a desktop for work since I bought my Sony Vaio
about 10 years ago. I do use the monitors from the desktop when I am
editing audio or video, but the desktop box rarely gets turned on
unless a guest in is the house and wants to use a computer.
