How old are the kids?
If they're 8, there's not much to it. Play position, pass, don't pick
it up unless you're the keeper.
If they're 16, you may be in over your head. :-)

I've volunteered to coach my twins soccer team! Considering I've
never really played soccer in my life, the task is pretty daunting.
I'm armed with a "Beginning soccer coaching" DVD and a couple of
books. My first practice is this Friday. I hope I don't make a fool
of myself.

If you have the chance to do this, I highly recommend it. You won't regret

"hanging out" at the mall or whatever.

Younger kids (under 10) are Cub Scouts. 10 year olds are "Webelos". 11
and up are Boy Scouts.
Cub scouts seldom participate in organized overnight campouts. Seldom
handle sharp things, and seldom handle firearms. Boy Scouts often do
all of the above.

Scoutmaster last month and it took me 3 weeks to make a meeting. The kids are
all 11 years old without any older boys in the troop, so I have my work cut out
for me to motivate these guys.
