That describes a pretty perfect Oregon day I think Jerry. I still have
this little dream of mine to work downtown, find a nice little house
in St. John's and then commute by kayak. Might be a bit gnarly in the
winter time but would be perfect in the summer.
Hmm...now you've got me pondering anoth
One of my favorite days in Oregon began early on a Saturday, waking up in a
yurt on the beach and sea kayaking in the surf, then mountain biking in the
mountains under the big Sitka spruce rain forest, hitting Mt Hood in the
afternoon for snowboard lessons, and setting up camp that night amongst t
I live in Portland, Oregon and am a many generation Oregonian. I've
got a bunch of friends in Seattle as well and have spent some time
there. I know that Jerry Johnson, from this list, used to live in
Portland.

kinda a mix of small town / big town feel.
This is just my impression from visiting though. I think Judah lives there -

Since that is the only state I am aware of from which Oregon or
Washington would be north*east*!
As for what most of us call the north*west*, I lived a

Any of you live up in the Northeast? My wife piped up and said the
other day, out of the blue, and said "let's move to Washington or
Oregon"... She was reading in a blog about Seattle and how green it
tends to be. We are fairly liberal "organic" people and Nashville

Wow, that's actually a really cool idea. And even cooler that a city
government would take it from idea to inception. GG Portland.
