We bought the 5-disk Sony when it first came out, now the same model
is about 1/2 the price, but still very good. We've been very happy
with it.
One thing to look for (perhaps) is the ability to place VCD and SVCD
disks. These disks are easy to burn, great for home movies etc, and

uses 3 cables for video (plus 2 for audio, of cou
I have three Panasonics in the house. No problems yet in about two
years. They are older models and I sent $160 on each one.
If you have S-video input for you TV, use the S-Video hookup. Better picture.
Features. All I use is play and stop ;-)
