Didn't some of the palms have that or at least built in WiFi?

Yeah, but you could fit it in a messenger bag or something small like that
to carry it.

I'd love to have one of these because a cell phone screen is too small
for my tastes for web browsing.
I have a problem with the Samsung Galaxy though, they're going to
market it only through mobile companies it seems - so almost certainly
you'll have to get it with some kind of 3g/4g service con
I'm not quite sold on 3G connectivity. It is expensive and slow and I
use my iPad almost exclusively where I have a WiFi connection.
Typing on the iPad is so-so. There is a new input method for Android
that looks pretty sweet though, called Swype: http://www.swypeinc.com/
The Samsung Galaxy seem
Cell Phone data link will be used in cases where WiFi is not available.
And so too the Voice Over IP.
You can do some very cool video conferencing things with a tablet and
a data link that you can't do with a smaller screen cell phone.
I'm looking forward to when I can replace my notebook with a

Who would want a cell phone that doesn't make calls?

I read somewhere that someone managed to hack Android onto a Nokia

The 'Cell Phone' part will be used to download applications,

I think that applications such as Skype sooner or later will be ported

Looks pretty nice, but I'm not quite sold on the 7" form factor. Same
for what Dell has put out. I think that bigger than your pocket but
smaller than a piece of notebook paper is going to just end up being
awkward.
I also like the Archos hasn't gone the route of making it a phone.
Just a tablet.
The Samsung Galaxy Tablet was announced today.
It looks to be the ultimate Android Tablet.
