I think that laptops are a commodity. I've had IBM Crashpads, Toshiba,
Compaq and my current one is a Dell Inspirion 4100. All of worked well at
times and have crashed at the most inopportune times.
I'd go straight on price from a main line provider: Compaq, Toshiba, Dell,
