My outlook gives me no end of problems.

I happened to look at the size of my *archive* .pst file.
It was over 2GB big.
So, I tried removing it from the Folder List, and I got an error
saying "Object Not Found".
I then went and I renamed the archive.pst file, and then when I
started Outlook it popped some errors saying that th
ANything. From little 80K word document to 6MB Powerpoint
presentations, to 10MB Autocad drawings.
But!
After it happens the first time for the day, it seems to open more
quickly thereafter. Until I leave it alone for a while...then its back
to these lng waits.
I'm using FileMon to see whats
the decode and copy process.

Don't believe everything you hear. Actually Outlook 2003 is still under
mainstream support until mid-2009 and then extended support until 2014:

I do not know of a way to do this other than maintain a separate contact
folder that only has the information you want to be listed.
Outlook tries to make it easy for you to select email addresses as well
as faxes as recipients of a message.

In Outlook 2003, click the Chapura Settings button on the toolbar. You
can also access this from the Tools menu.
Then, select your profile and click "Settings...". Then, select
"Outlook Tasks" and "Change...".
The first option is "Categories/Folders".
If you get the latest version of Palm Desktop, I think you can sync
multiple folders to your Palm. From what I remember, however, multiple
folders become categories on the Palm.
