I'm a bit late to this thread, but, let me make a few comments.
FIrst off - I am not going to comment on Horn. Period.
As for BlogCFC, and this is for G, he made two main points -
a) You can make comments and trackbacks from a remote location.
b) There is a "phishing" issue.
Let me address the
from what I remember of the issue, he basically pirated the blog cfc
code, said it was his own and resold it as encrypted code.
then when it was pointed out to him that this was wrong, he turned
around and had multiple temper tantrums. Then on top of it he tried to
sell a fix to his complaints for
Oh, didn't you see that he did fix these issues for himself? And that
he will tell you what he did for a donation of $100, or give you the
source changes for $200.

Actually, I found out what his beef is by reading back some posts in his blog.
1. He tried to use BlogCFC.
2. He found that it had issues so he modified the code.
3. He didn't see any indication of which opensource license model it
was being distributed under, so he felt it was okay then to distri

Ray's such a nice guy too. If you've got a problem with himthe problem
is probably you.

I guess it sort of depends on your definition. From what I gathered
from his rants, the "backdoors" are a combination of minor security
flaws and being designed to be able to be published via web services.
I'd say this isn't backdooring, because it doesn;t seem to me the intrne

Did he lose in Ray's blackjack code challenge or something? Maybe he's
off his meds?
He's actually making some good points about security issues, but the
vehement fuming vitriol is bizarre. I mean, I've seen a few issues
with some of Ray's stuff too, but I don't blame Ray. He's freely
releasing so
Funny I was thinking with not allowing comments, he was a female
reproductive organ.

So..um...i read his posts and such about BlogCFC
All his personal insults and shit aside, can someone who knows more about
this software than me tell me whether all the technical points he's making
are bullshit or not? Does the software have back-doors built in? Or is that
just all BS?
Speaking of someone who needs a good pop on the snoz...
This guy is a true ingrate. A moron. A male reproductive organ.

them exactly what they want.

doesn't change the fact. he's going to say "a bear doesn't shit in
the woods". you're going to spend your time and effort trying to
convince him o
