How do you figure that?
Yeah, Bush approved the plan, so he's guilty...but Rummy and the rest of the
dummies came up with the plan. Bush has said all along that the military
leadership has been in charge of the tactical operation from day one.
So while the Dem's calls are pointless (I don't
Spot on.
From my perspective the democrats are in much worse condition than the
republicans right now. They have no coherent policy on anything, and have
way to much internal division on issues to be a real challenge to republican
control of congress. It's too bad really. Our government tends
I agree that the democrats are still a mess right now, but I'm not sure they
are in a worse position than the republicans. The republicans have
controlled everything for awhile now, and people are pretty pissed at how
things have worked out.
I think the dems have a chance at taking control of

For me, it seems that no one LIKES the democrats, but people at the
moment actually DISLIKE the republicans.

The Democrats have a shot, but they have two big challenges:
1. Funding - The RNC has $30 million more than the DNC, and that money will
go directly into anti-Democrat attack ads in vulnerable Republican districts

advertising.
Bob Novak has a gloomy outlook for Republicans:

He agrees with me on the funding point but believes the second big issue
