+1. I still remember when it was cancelled - at the end of one of the last
shows (maybe it was the last one), Max made some snide remarks about it and
I wondered how they got

What about selection? Wal-Mart is notorious for not stocking magazines, CDs and DVDs that they deem to be objectionable. Do they do this with
Related to this, I just saw a story that Wal-Mart is going to sell DVD players that automatically censor movies.

A friend of mine mentioned this this weekend. She thought it was a
wonderful idea...
I asked her if they were going to remove the off button, too, just like
they did on TVs and radios.
When she said they didn't remember them taking the off button off of TVs
and radios, I said, yeah I guess
NetFlix is great.
And if you look at the price and the number of movies you can have out at a time, the price is essentially the same.
Wal-Mart
2 Movies out for $15.54
3 Movies out for $18.76
4 Movies out for $21.94
NetFlix
8 movies out at a time for $39.95, and
5 movies out a time for
and delivered on time.

Question
Where are Netflix's distribution centers located?
Answer
Netflix provides over half of the country with next-day delivery, with
distribution centers located throughout the United States
+1 Netflix
I tried walmart when they first came out. They may have improved since
that time, but they were slow to ship, and shipping seemed slower than
netflix as well. (Their dist. center was likely further away)
Netflix is great. Once shipped, it takes 1 day either way (sending or
Since so many people already said kudos for Netflix I was staying out of
this ...
But might as well add our big 20 million thumbs up for Netflix! Fabulous
service. Signed up as soon as we moved back, having used a similar
service in the UK that was just as good, but more expensive.
Cheers,

I tried walmart when they first came out. They may have improved since
did that I might consider dropping Netflix. But in the
end there's no way they can compete with the library available at Netflix.

My sister uses walmart in OK all the time, she watches at least 5 movies a week I think, but she's right next to a wallmart distribution hub.
I use Netflix, just started.
I think they are pretty equal service wise.

Netflix has been great for us in Somerville. I'm thinking about Walmart for
the price, but I want to compare the sites first (the queue process, number
of discs, etc) and haven't had the chance.
I would also really be swayed if one of them began offering game discs as
well. I can't afford $20 to
