create separate logs for each domain you need to add a directive under
the VirtualHost section for each domain like:

are uploaded using CFFILE. The file name in question was:
Lonidas.pdf
And the with changed to a question mark (L?onidas.pdf), however the
variables returned by CFFILE had it create, so when the code used the

but the people the site is for will not allow the file name to be
changed. It is a government funded project and therefore everything

If you can't do what you need to do using ODBC you could use Apache
Jakarta POI (http://jakarta.apache.org/poi/index.html). You can
interface to it using cfobject as it a Java API. As far as I know,

CFMX. So I'm not sure whether the fix would need to come from MM or MS. The
fix at the moment would be to change the server to Windows 2000.

For the most part you should be fine. We moved from 4.5 to MX and the only
real problem we had was with some old apps where we have used CFINSERT and
CFUPDATE, there is a small change in behaviour between 4.5 and MX. Apart
from that everything is pretty much ok. The only other problem
If you use CFEXECUTE you have to write the output to a file, then read the file using CFFILE and then parse the output to get the information you need. It is very in-efficent way of doing it, but an option.
You could maybe find a way of doing it using CFOBJECT and a Java API.

use qmail on a Linux box as the mail client. Don't use Sendmail as it
is very slow. If you are on Windows 2003 IIS6 SMTP server is pretty
good, but really a qmail is the best.

We have had this problem as well, on both Windows 2003 and Redhat Linux
servers. There doesn't seems to be any logic cause of the problem and
therefore no fix. The only way to work around the problem is to restart the
server regularly. We have a scheduled task on both Windows and Linux
