There is no real difference (in cf) between a '2d' array and an array of arrays. The only difference is that using arrayNew(2) means you don't have to initialize the arrays in the first dimension. Not sure if that makes sense. If you need to make a 4d array, which you can't do w/ arrayNew(), you
