You can put more than one application's tables in a given database.
Don't know if BlogCFC has facilities for table prefixes, but it
wouldn't be to hard to add if not. So blog_* for the blog, store_*
for your personal store, etc. Short of that, you might look into
something like sqlite, which is
Why not make ONE db with lots of tables?

Simply write the blog entry down to file and any comment to a secondary
file, both of which will be included on template run. It will kill search
unless you use verity though.

It's the new version of the old CFXML_Blog software i released some

As it was said before, you could mix blog tables with whatever else you're
doing with your DB. I have two blogs, and my Wife's Potter site on the same
DB.
That said, I love blogfusion (blogfusion.com http://blogfusion.com) Jake
is very cool, and releases new versions often enough to keep the app
BlogCFC supports N blogs per DSN, so you wouldn't need this.

Yep - here I yell :)
I'd think REALLY hard about doing a blog without a database. A blog, by nature,

Could someone recommend a Blog application that is written in ColdFusion?
We are currently running ColdFusion Server Version 5, 0, 0, 0, on Windiws NT
4.0, Service Pack 6.
Check out BlogFusion (www.countersinkdg.com). I've written it for MX, but I've had several people modify it pretty quickly
.
Just my opinion.
