They wanted to re-iterate that they still are hosting ColdFusion and are
planning to continue investing in CF tech.
I've always had good experiences with them.
They aren't going out of the CF hosting business. They are
discontinuing their Windows VPS CF Builder product offering (I got the
notifications last night as well).
Personally, I'm not very happy with the short notice of the termination. If
you're not able to meet a short time frame (IMO) for
Max they pulled the same BS on us in the springwe moved to Jordan at
Viviotech and are SUPER pleased with them to date.
After the hostmysite/host.com mergerthe goodness of hostmysite was

if you have books-on-line installed, have a look at the Copying Databases to
Other Servers section. as you can see there are a bunch of ways to handle
the headers shouldnt cause a slowdown and it may not say your website but it
still is probably on the same server and the point of doing the ping is to see
where it is slowing down between your computer and the server which doesn't
necessarily mean that it is either your computer or the server
Sounds like their using host headers, which would redirect to a directory
based on the domain passed in the host header. This allows for multiple
domains on the same IP
