excellent. I had no idea how much of java i had already been learning
by playing around with OOP CF. From your examples, it's clear that
there are a LOT of similarities between CF and java, and it shouldn't
be a gigantic leap
I'm pretty sure the flex2gateway is a new jar in the CF 7.2
update

In theory, this could probably work, however you need to realise that
CFC's are not 'regular' Java Objects, they may well be accepted by the
code you are referring to, but I doubt they could pass across, at a
Java Level, the complex state that they contain.
