I've got a 402 BB and ordered a BB fan

I assumed they where deeper with more of a

So maybe everything's OK?

That was probably it. According to MAD web page, the
entire system depends upon this section of wire from
battery to horn relay and chevrolet designed to to
produce a specific amount of voltage drop. If this was
loose or not connected at all everything shuts down.
And raising the hood up could have
If my brother doesn't go for it I will let you know! 8) The only interesting
thing about is it still has a Lackey High School sticker from 78 in the rear
window and he remembers the car.

The fire wall pad ( insulation) can be a PITA to do, with your heater box
out of the way, it;it's just fitting around the steering column and pedal
brace, emergency brake bracket, fuse box. it helps if the dash gauge /radio
is pulled, for more room behind that area, the next challenge is the push
If you plan to run that large a rotor, you don't have any choice.

I was talking last night with a guy in Oklahoma who is looking for a '66

I have all the old moldings from my 69 El Camino Custom. None of them are
pristine (or they wouldn't have been replaced), but if anybody wants them,
let me know. these are mainly the eyebrows, header panel moldings, side body
moldings, bed/tailgate moldings, plus probably some other stuff lurking i
I have that with my 69. For mine, it’s the

done it yet).

The easiest swap would be a stock type kit for your chevelle. You would need to
reomove the wheel spindles, but with the right tools its not tooo bad a job. Make
sure that the "kit" includes all you will need, master cylinder- booster??, lines,
proportioning valve , etc.

Welcome to the List,Hans. Glad to have another Elky lover aboard.
Looks like you have your work cut out for you but it's a good
start,nonetheless.
If I might make a suggestion, forget about a fiberglass front end and stick
with steel. Glass front ends aren't really good for anything but
racecars,IMO
The cheapest way is to find a 1964-1972 chevelle, GTO, Cutlass in the
junkyard that had disc brakes, and pull it off. Preferably the single
piston kind.
I think the cutlass is the easier find in my opinion.
I got a set off ebarf for $290 in good shape (after shipping). They are off
