Any heating and A/C guys here?
I have a dehumidifier in my unheated garage.
This is fine when it's warm, but here in SE pennsylvania we get days in winter where
it gets damp and dreary and too cool for the dehumidifier to run and not ice up.
Any one else have this problem?

if you pull all of the fuses and the battery still runs down the problem could be in the armature of the starter or alternator
just my two cents

John,
Did you add a sound system?
Maybe radio or amp is always on?
Electric choke? Tach?
Did you check lights in trunk, underhood, glovebox?
Make sure they go out?
Just thought I'd throw a few ideas out.

No copyright necessary--this is done for the good of the people. :-)))

No radio (but maybe the power lead is just laying against something). No
electric choke or tach. Glovebox light bulb is burnt out. All other lights
seem to be ok.

You must have the Speed Minder option--a buzzer will go off when you
exceed the speed that you set with the white needle. This is a

My new ride wont start. Thinking it was a starter

I noticed that 6 teeth were virtually non-existent.
It seems like if I spin the motor a little bit, the

Your flywheel will continue to frustrate
you. It will eventually chew the teeth up on your starter if you dont

The directional problems may be caused by poor grounds. You need
to check all of the light grounds and make certain that they are clean
tight. No corrosion or paint between the wire eyelet the metal.
You can use light sand paper to clean the corrosion/paint.Also be

Dan , if it does stop on the bad spot, you will need to turn the motor

to have a breaker bar socket for the crank bolt. You really need
to get it fixed.

You know when your
lowrider is really low when your flywheel starts to lose
teeth!
If you had a
manual, it would be easy to roll the car in gear and spin the engine a
bit. With an auto, I'm not sure you can do much to move the engine once it
is off. You could carry a long

Dan,
I'm in Cleveland (Lyndhurst). Do you ever go out to Solon on Tuesday
nights? I'm not sure when the 'season' ends out there, although I saw some
nice cars heading east on 480 yesterday on my way home from
work.

Screw holes around the edges of every location for the hood
insulation. I am assuming that it is where the working cowl
induction would bolt to. Anyone know if that is true or what is supposed to be
there?
Thanks,
JB
There was
no working such thing as cowl induction in 1969 Chevelles.

Eeek. That was meant to be no such thing
