Tell the guy with the original LS6 to keep everything he removes from the car
including old belts, bolts, clips, any paper tags found even if partial,
everything. A future collector or restorer will appreciate it.

I'd say general maintainance items leave the car considered OU as long as
they are GM service replacement parts and not generic brand parts.

I had a question from a member the other day that wants to replace a few
parts on his Unrestored 70 SS. It's an unmolested, unrestored, matching #'s
LS6 with around 70K miles. Original paint, interior, motor, etc.
He would like to replace some of the worn parts... belts, hoses, etc at
