Tom just an FYI on the intake leak. That is an extremely common place for leaks if you use the rubber front and rear gaskets. The remedy is not to use them. Just place a bead of RTV along the front and rear and bolt the intake down. This technique will also eliminate vacuum leaks that I have seen
