It occurred to me that one would want to replace the
fluids as quickly and possible and start it. The
sooner, some heat is back in the engine and
drivetrain, the better. Agree?

John, if any water did get in the engine, it would show on the dipstick.

guys think that two feet of water would be enough to cause engine
Pull the plugs crank it over, any water in the cylinders will be
pumped out. Change the oil filter it should be fine. I'd also
change the trans and diff fluids since water could get in through the
vents. Even if no water got into anything, it's just good
preventative maintenance.
