How many miles are on the engine? Do you know it's history? If you don't
know the history, or know it's been a lot of years or lot of miles, it
might be worth a tear down and inspection, and replacement of most gaskets
at minimum. Timing chain & gears and new head gaskets are always good
maintenan
Replace the clutch ? Always resurface the flywheel or I will guarantee you
will get clutch chatter.

Saw a Milodon pan & 1-piece compression-stop gasket a while ago on HP TV (no
plug intended) -- did anyone catch the part #s? Milodon hasn't been any help
thus far.

I'd spring for a single-piece oil pan gasket (Felpro I believe) while you're
doing the rear-main seal.

replace the pilot bushing or bearing and the rear main seal inspect the
pressure plate and clucth disk also the throw out bearing. am i forgetting
anything?
