and run Cinelerra from there. Although I
guess that's rather suboptimal.
There's also live cd's with linux+cinelerra, so that you don't need to
change anything on you computer.

es hard in Cinelerra :-) It's probably
easier, because there you only do it on the whole file, whilst in
Cinelerra you might have to bother with effects on every clip.
I might be wrong though, I haven't really used Cin for other things
than fairly standard DV.

Well, the titler in the video editing programs aren't of much use. The
titler in Final Cut Pro sucks hard and long too. That's why I use
inkscape to make the titles for both FCP and Cinelerra. :-)
So you can easily move to Cinelerra now ;-)

I'm using Hardy and Cinelerra. No problemo. I did a fresh install and
am using the Akirad-version on 64bit. It's not damn stable, but now I
know where it crashes and I can use it for some easy chopping that I
do once in a while now.
(Yes; in other news, I'm actually using Cinelerra for other than
done in an iMovie-like interface.

A guy on this list made a driver for a jog for Cinelerra. About a
