Does any one know when Cisco Press will be releasing the next set of Books
for CCNP 6xx series? Whats the main difference between the 5xx series exams
for CCNP and the 6xx series? Can I still use the Cisco Press 5xx series
books to pass the 6xx series CCNP tests?
Thanks for all your help in advance

I would still use a /30 mask if I was using unregistered IP's. If I was
using standard IP's then maybe I would think about using the /31.

Some newer IOS releases support /31 for point-to-point media. There
is an RFC describing the practice.
That's what I confusing.
if I use /31s to the link address, it seems there's no address for network
address and broadcast address in this subnet.
How could it work?

However,
cisco backed out support in some early versions of the 12.1 code train
(ie
it worked in some versions of 12.0, didn't work in some 12.1, and now
appears
to work again).
RFC 3021 provides details.

Hi JFD,
Thanks for the response, but it doesn't answer the question. Is there

you need one address for the Network address and one for the Broadcast

I am searching for the IOS filename for an IOS for 1750 series which would

Thanks for your input guy's ...
I found a Switch in the DMZ that had an IP default-gateway, pointing to a

As soon as I changed the IP def-gateway I could telnet around the DMZ

Hi,
I have the DMZ as security 50, and the Inside as security 100. I have an
access-list applied to the DMZ and the Inside for permit IP any any.
My problem is that I cannot Telnet to any routers/switches on the DMZ from
the
Inside LAN. Ping and Traceroute work !!! (ICMP permit inside/dmz any).
In cisco terms, mincir is the cir, and cir is the port speed.
