Hi Juan,
This link may be helpful. The is the exam objectives for CID test from the
cisco website. I have found that it is best to use these as a guideline for
studying regardless of the study material used so that I do not focus too
heavily on areas not covered.

Using software which designed for use on a cisco hardware platform on

Simple pre-sales level stuff on 'stratacom' is all I remember having to

You might want to add the Lou Rossi Token Ring whitepaper at www.ccprep.com.

Depending upon the router platform you can use NBAR.
I am just really depressed right now because there are costumers getting
involved in our business. I knew I wasn't the only one who liked to get

professionals out there..

Get the ccprep.com broken ring whitepaper and know it. If you are

I used the Cisco Press Books "Cisco Internetwork Design" and "Top Down
Network Design". The first one was probably enough for the exam, but the
second helps to put things into real world perspective.
As with all the exams, use the exam objectives on cisco.com/certifications

How many remote sites off each 7500?
Are the remote sites all 'stub' sites?
Do the remotes have connections to both 7500's (ie. primary and backup pvc)?
The passive-interface idea you have is probably a good one.
