I agree with Joseph Brunner.
To compare the two is absurd! The Chinese will use the technology to
suppress the truth from becoming known to the people ( peasants to the
elite). It is also a good way to find the subversives and eliminate them.
As for the US government monitoring the traffic, I
have the previous file.
I did a campus drawing for a university and I was forced to split the
drawing in half. A real pain!

The Autosense feature should be taken with a grain of salt. If you need a
specific connection to work, you should set the speed and duplex manually.
One of the first thing I became aware of many years ago is that most "auto"

If you are working now and are reasonably happy, stay put!
Just my $.02.

PS
I lost a lot of friends on the 11th. I was in and out of the WTC for a
number of years. I worked in tower 2, Amex and 1 Liberty Plaza. I cannot
express in words what I feel.

You will not see any server ip addresses in the 6509 box.
If the box is running native IOS and you are doing a layer 2 config then the
ip addresses are on the vlan not the interface. The interface is assigned
to a vlan. You will not see any ip address of any server on the box. The

I was on it yesterday and it went bust. Those of us who made it to the
