One more thing I forgot to mention. If a Client is powered off and
disconnected (physicaly) from the network and then powered on. The client
will retain the last known VTP domain/VLAN configuration.

I took the CCIE beta exam at the begining on May (a day beofore the

Does anyone want to admit to taking the beta calling prometric and getting
an F???
My attitude is much like yours. I also took the exam just to get a sample. I
never expected to pass! (It would be nice but...)
Either way ... Break a leg or something.

I spoke with another person at Prometric. She basically said dont count
your chickens before they hatch. Also, she said they sometimes put a P in
there just for giggles and . (pardon my periods)
So, if you took the test out of curiosity and never expected to pass you
probably did'nt. :(
I will be in the Multicast Power session on Monday and the Router
Architecture Power session in Friday. Arriving Saturday Night.
So if you are in either class just yell out my name :)

easier (mostly becasue the beta had newly added subjects that I have no
practical experiance with.)
BTW: I highly recommend attending the PS session (or atleast trying to
get your hand on a copy of the PS CCIE book)

Yes, I meant the book that you get when you attend the CCIE Power Session.
My company did not want to pay for it either, until I said I would pay for
it myself. Go figure, beside 450 bucks is nothing with respect to the
information that you get out of it!

Sorry,
I should have been more clear. What I meant to say was the CCIE Power
Session Manual - you get this when you attend the CCIE power session at
Networkers (Cisco's networking event)

ll be fine, however you will not be able to perform your
add/deletes/modifys on that domain. This can be remedied by making another
switch a SERVER.
Hope that answers you question.

to be completed on the engineers side that documents all possible
output, provides debugs and command syntax in all possible compinations. The
fact that this is so time consuming many engineers avoid doing it!
