Clock rate on C1005 synch?

2000-07-03 Thread SteveS
I cannot seem to get the router to take a clock rate command. I have been trying to set up frame-relay, turned on frame-relay switching, etc. Seemed to get the router to go DCE as it shows in sh int s0, and in sh controll ser. but there is no clock speed. I tried an inverse clock to no avail.

PS I filled out the form on their WEB site for feedback on the Doc CD and at the end of the 1998 feedback form I did not see nay send button. Scrolled all over the page and at the top (dummy me) they had a note that said fill it out and fax it in, your nickel, and long distance. Now tell me they

I agree, spent too much time uninstalling and reinstalling just trying to get something out of my CD's. Even looked at Adobe's reader and found a Verity search engine add-on in their. Plus Cisco CD's wants old QTIme technology. GO figure. Steve ""Bharat Suneja"" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in mess

How do I switch async to sync on a C1005?

2000-06-16 Thread SteveS
I need to have a serial port on my Cisco C1005 for CCNA programming. I have a crossover DCE/DTE cable. My "serial" port always comes up as async 1. How can or where do I change this. I cannot find this in the docs, and the docs make mention of both, but not how to change it. Thanks, Steve ___
