I cannot seem to get the router to take a clock rate command.
I have been trying to set up frame-relay, turned on frame-relay switching,
etc.
Seemed to get the router to go DCE as it shows in sh int s0, and in sh
controll ser.
but there is no clock speed. I tried an inverse clock to no avail.

Michael,
Thanks, but this goes to CCO docs. I tried putting a "guest" in place of the
"customer" in the link, no go.

Stephen,
This mystical nirvana is CCO...Ta Daa. You will need a mystical logon ID and
mystical password.
To get those you must pay cold real hard cash. This is not the easiest thing
to do, and the only solution I have found is to call Cust Service, bow down
before them, and pay through the nose.
Ole,
DSL does go down, but it is getting better. if you are using your local
Telco for the service then your phone line should be up 100%. When using a
modem on the same line you will be limited to 28.8k, if you want to use
33.6k you will have to use another phone line for that, and if you are go
PS I filled out the form on their WEB site for feedback on the Doc CD and at
the end of the 1998 feedback form I did not see nay send button. Scrolled
all over the page and at the top (dummy me) they had a note that said fill
it out and fax it in, your nickel, and long distance.
Now tell me they
I agree, spent too much time uninstalling and reinstalling just trying to
get something out of my CD's. Even looked at Adobe's reader and found a
Verity search engine add-on in their. Plus Cisco CD's wants old QTIme
technology. GO figure.

I need to have a serial port on my Cisco C1005 for CCNA programming. I have
a crossover DCE/DTE cable.
My "serial" port always comes up as async 1. How can or where do I change
this.
I cannot find this in the docs, and the docs make mention of both, but not
how to change it.
Thanks, Steve
