I Agree with you. CIT was probably the easiest for me as well. Routing
was definately the hardest. For other studying for the CCNP i reccommend
taking Routing as your 3rd test. I found myself referring back to my
routing book often while studying for CIT as I had forgotten some of the

Actually- I think in the end we agree... you need to have both but I will
say that knowing the theory doesnt always translate well into
troubleshooting skills and troubleshooting doesnt always translate to
theory. You must have both skills..
Your eye on the network? possibly.. I have other tools
Just an FYI - I read it carefully - they're a set of 4 e-books plus the
bonus stuff on the CD - no paper books included in this set.

exam which not many people pass.
If you really want to go that way, I would wait just a couple of days and
look at XP and Server.NET instead.

I have not used the course manual. So I don't know if the questions are
closely related to the course manual. There are quite a few fill in the
blank questions. They are mostly commands for troublshooting (show and
debug, of course). Good luck with your test.
